So it is possible to make an outfit for G2 work on a G3 or G8. However, there are various methods and products that can convert morphs, textures, pose presets or clothes from one generation to another. Shaping morphs are specifically limited to that generation. But otherwise, a skin for 2 will not work on 3 or 8. Genesis 8 is an exception in that 8 can use the skins for 3. I will add that the different Genesis generations may not be directly compatible with others. If it says Genesis 8 or mentions 8 a lot, it's for Genesis 8.Īnd if it says 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7, it's for Genesis 3. If it says Genesis 2 or just 2 in reference to it's base, it's for Genesis 2.
